Kargul Studio, last updated 14 Oct 2026
This policy explains what personal data Kargul Studio collects through kargul.studio and our business communications, why we use it, and the rights you have.
Who we are
Kargul Studio Sp. z o.o. (“we”, “us”) is a design and engineering studio registered in Poland at Nieskurzów Nowy 102, 27-552 Baćkowice (KRS 0001229092, VAT ID PL8631712518). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. To contact us about your data, email hello@kargul.studio with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, work email, company, role, and anything you write when you book a call on our website, email us, message us on X or LinkedIn, or speak with us on a call.
- Project information. Briefs, files, feedback and account details you share while we work together.
- Website usage data. Pages visited, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type, approximate location and referring site. We only collect this with analytics tools if you consent (see Cookies and analytics).
- Business contact details. For outreach, we use publicly available professional information such as your name, role, company, and work email or social profile.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and ask that you do not send it to us.
Why we use your data
Cookies and analytics
Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember choices such as your cookie preferences. Analytics cookies are off unless you accept them.
If you accept, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site, through clicks, scrolling, device information and session recordings. We mask what you type into forms. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, Clarity only runs after you give consent. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings on this site. Marketing cookies are off unless you accept them and are used to measure our advertising and outreach, including on X.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the studio, under appropriate data protection terms:
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers
- Analytics: Microsoft (Clarity)
- Email, scheduling and messaging tools we use to communicate with you
- Video tools used for calls and recorded audits, such as Loom
- Design, project and file-sharing tools we use to deliver our work
- Accounting, invoicing and payment providers
We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on an adequacy decision (for example, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers) or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries and outreach: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
- Client and project records: for the length of the relationship, then for the period the law requires for accounting and tax records (in Poland, generally five years).
- Analytics data: as set in the analytics tool, up to 13 months.
- Opt-out requests: we keep the minimum needed (such as your email address) so we do not contact you again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interests, including for outreach, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email us at hello@kargul.studio and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or you can contact the authority in the country where you live or work.
Business outreach and opting out
We may contact business professionals about our services on the basis of legitimate interests, using publicly available professional information. Every message gives you a clear way to opt out. If you reply “stop” or ask us not to contact you again, we will stop and add you to a suppression list. You can also ask where we got your details.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls and limiting access to team members who need it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@kargul.studio.
